UMBULAN SPRINGS-GREATER SURABAYA WATER SUPPLY PROJECT

GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE

The Government of Indonesia has received a PHRD Grant through the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) in the amount of US$ 1,000,000 equivalent toward the cost of the Umbulan Springs-Greater Surabaya Water Supply Project, and it intends to apply the proceeds of this Grant to payments for consulting services to be selected under this project. The project will include the following components.

(i) A Study for Establishment of the Umbulan Pipeline Corporation; and

(ii) A Feasibility Study and Engineering Design.

Selection of Consultant financed by the Grant will be conducted through the procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, May 2004, and is open to all consulting firms from eligible source countries as defined in the guidelines.

Expressions of Interest (EOI) for consultant’s contracts will be announced, as they become available, in the UN Development Business online, in the Development Gateway's dgMarket and the Indonesia’s daily newspaper(s) and the web page: http://www.pu.go.id
