The Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Solid Waste Management Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction of two disposal cells on Moscanica landfill site in Zenica. Utility company “Regionalna deponija Moscanica" Zenica now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for tender BA-SWM-ICB-077-W-05-3672-BOS/ZE which pertains to construction of two waste disposal cells on Moscanica landfill in Zenica. Works include following:
- base preparation for setting up a drainage system, gas control system,
- laying of hydraulic barrier,
- construction of brim ditch,
- building of leachate collection tank, building of water table with brim channel for leachate.

Intended completion date is 1 May 2006.

Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, May 24, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines.

A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 100 EUR. The method of payment will be payment of fee to specified account number, details of which are provided bellow:

The document will be sent by mail/DHL or can be directly overtaken at premises of utility company, address of which is mentioned above. Document shall be sent / handed over upon provision of proof of payment of the abovementioned fee.

All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% (two percent) of bid price in BAM or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency, and be delivered to the address below by 12:00 (local time) on September 12, 2005. They will be opened immediately thereafter, in the presence of bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend, at the address below. Late bids will be rejected.
