1. Project identification and financing: a) Project title: Programme
d'Appui à la Réhabilitation (PAR II).
b) Project number: 7 ACP ZR 042.
c) Source of financing: seventh European Development Fund (7th EDF).
d) Status of financing: financing agreement No 5898/ZR was signed on 14
July 2003 in Kinshasa. This invitation to tender has been issued with a
suspension clause.
2. Contract identification: a) Type of contract: supplies.
b) Object: public works equipment.
c) Number of the open invitation to tender: RDC/UE/PARII/001/2004.

lot A1: 33-off, earthmoving equipment;
lot A2: 14-off, heavy compacting equipment;

3. Eligibility and origin criteria: a) Origin: goods must be
manufactured in EU Member States and/or ACP countries signatory to the
fourth Lomé Convention. Austria, Finland, Sweden and the Republic of
South Africa are not eligible countries since they have not signed this
convention.
b) Eligibility: only companies from EU Member States or ACP countries can
compete.
4. Locations and deadlines: a) Project location: Kinshasa and the
Province of Bandundu, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
b) Place of delivery or installation: Office des routes, Département du
Matériel, 512, avenue Bobozo (ex-Poids Lourds), Commune de Limete,
Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
c) Time limit for execution: maximum of four months.

Commission européenne en République démocratique du Congo relatif à un
projet identifié pour être financé par la Communauté européenne (CE)
1. Identification et financement du projet: a) Intitulé du projet:
Programme d'Appui à la Réhabilitation (PAR II).
b) Numéro du projet: 7 ACP ZR 042.
c) Source de financement: 7ème Fonds européen de développement (7ème FED).
d) Situation du financement: la Convention de Financement n° 5898/ZR a
été signée le 14 juillet 2003 à Kinshasa. Le présent appel d'offres est
lancé avec clause suspensive.
