INVITATION FOR BIDS

The Arab Republic of Egypt acting through the Ministry of Water Resources
and Irrigation has received a loan from the European Investment Bank, No
20.691. The Ministry intends to use part of the proceeds of this loan to
finance part of the contract resulting from the current call for tenders.
The Egyptian Public Authority For Drainage Projects (EPADP) invites
sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of the following
equipment and their spare parts;
- Lot (A) 19 trucks (6×4) with min. 12 m³ tipping body & spare parts.
- Lot (B) 6 mobile workshops, fully equipped & spare parts.
A complete set of bidding documents may be consulted on site or purchased
from the Egyptian Public Authority for Drainage Projects on the
submission of a written application and upon payment of a non-refundable
fee of 500 LE per copy.

Bids shall be submitted at the same address at the latest by Wednesday
19/5/2004 at 12 noon (local time) in the form described in the tender
documents and accompanied by the bid security of a total amount of 2% of
the total offer price. The offers will be opened in the presence of the
bidders or their representatives at the above-mentioned date and address.
Any bid received after the due time or not accompanied by the bid
security will be rejected.
