6. Description of the contract: The works are located by the
Belarusian-Polish border, on the bank of the Western Bug River, on the
highway from Berlin and Warsaw to Minsk and Moscow.
The proposed works form phase 1 of a new freight terminal Kozlovichi II
to supplement the existing facilities.
The works involve enlarging the site by forming a new embankment,
demolition of some existing buildings and existing road pavement,
construction of a new access road and parking areas for trucks, a main
administration building, an engineering and operations building, a
warehouse for temporary storage and a customs office building, along with
associated infrastructure.
7. Indicative number and titles of lots: One contract with a total of
five lots.
8. Scheduled publication date: May 2004.

10. Legal basis: EC Council Regulation (EC, Euratom) No 99/2000 of 29
December 1999 concerning the provision of assistance to the partner
States in eastern Europe and central Asia.
