6. Description of the contract: Airside works at the Melville Hall
Airport in the Commonwealth of Dominica to meet ICAO compliance
requirements and facilitate night-landing operations. The works include:
the development of RESAs; runway and apron re-surfacing, drainage and
markings; the supply and installation of airfield ground lighting systems.
7. Indicative number and titles of lots: One lot.
8. Scheduled publication date: 2nd quarter 2006.
9. Other information: The air access improvement programme comprises 2
packages.
Package 1: renovation and expansion of the terminal building, car park
and access road - works contract ongoing scheduled for completion 3rd
quarter 2006.
Package 2: airside works (object of the present notice).
10. Legal basis: Cotonou Partnership Agreement between the ACP States
and the EC and its Member States of 23.6.2000 (OJ L 317, 15.12.2000).
Decision 2/2002 of the ACP-EC Council of Ministers of 7.10.2002 (OJ
320/1, 23.11.2002).
